the regular vacation to which they are entitled, become eligible to receive a Supplementary Vacation with pay each five (5) years as follows:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Years of Twenty-five (25) \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Three \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (3)<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">After Thirty\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (30) \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Four \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (4)<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">After Thirty-five (35) \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Four \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (4)<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">After Forty \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (40) \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Five \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (5)<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Section 2:\u00a0 General Provisions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(a) The Supplementary Vacation may be taken in conjunction with the regular vacation to which the employee is entitled provided such regular vacation is not scheduled to be taken during the months of July or August, in which event the Supplementary Vacation shall be taken at a time to be agreed upon by the Company and the employee.<\/p>\n<p>(b) The Supplementary Vacation must be taken prior to the employee becoming eligible for their next earned period of Supplementary Vacation as provided for in Section 1 previously.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">(c) One (1) week\u2019s Supplementary Vacation pay shall be equal to forty (40) hours at the straight time hourly rate of the employee\u2019s regular job.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">(d) For the purpose of determining eligibility for Supplementary Vacation, an employee\u2019s service shall be calculated from the date of their joining the Company.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">(e) An employee may elect to take their Supplementary Vacation one day at a time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">(f)\u00a0 If the employee wishes to elect this option, they must advise the Company, in writing, of their election in advance for that 5-year period.\u00a0 However, employees may revoke this option at any time during the five (5) year period and take any remaining Supplementary Vacation days as weeks.\u00a0 Any remaining Supplementary Vacation days that cannot be taken in multiples of five (5) will be taken in one block.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Section 3:\u00a0 Partial Entitlement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">At retirement or termination from the Company, an employee who has completed five (5) or more years of service shall be entitled to that portion of Supplementary Vacation pay proportionate to the number of years of service completed subsequent to their last five-year entitlement
